Quiet on the 4th of July

Jul 4, 11:59 PM

It’s Independence Day, but pretty quiet as Friends General Conference winds to a close. Quakers aren’t big on oaths, so there aren’t any flag t-shirts or anthems being sung. It seems like any other rainy day.

So I’m just going to post these pictures. They’re part of an ongoing campaign here called “Karma-Shave,” meant to inspire and provoke. The poem below definitely provokes.
